What's sad is that they think lighting their skin is going to make them more attractive. It's all about your facial features, if you're ugly with dark skin you're going to be ugly with light skin.

Very unfortunate. I wish people didn't feel the need to do things like this. I'm all for self improvement whether it be living a healthy lifestyle, increasing physical activity, etc. However changing your skin color seems much more perverse. I would hope that my wife would know that she doesn't need to go to such extreme lengths to achieve some ideal of "beauty" when I married her for who she already was. It's sad and in my opinion yes, black is beautiful.

While I do have an affinity for darker women, I wish these kinds of statements weren't made. They're unnecessary and they ultimately do more harm than good. Nothing wrong at all with preference though homie.
