Maybe he didn’t have his strap on him? He went over there not knowing if she had already been killed of if a burglar was actually present. If he goes over there shouting her name and someone comes out and shoot him, then what? True enough he could’ve just minded his business, but what if he wakes up the following morning seeing that his neighbor had been killed? Then he’d wish he had done something. Cops have a racial bias against Black people for sure. We're not debating this in 2019.

In this particular case, you can argue that maybe it was a class thing, but I still don't buy it. Cops go into Black neighborhoods with their guards all the way up because they must be trained to find PoC somehow more dangerous than Whites, which leads to them shooting first and asking questions later.
