I’m tired of this, a welfare check shouldn’t escalate to a murder
If you listen to his interview he clearly did go to check on her, but he didn't see anybody and he became concerned that the doors to his neighbor's house were wide open and all the lights were on in the house. He then called the non-emergency number for a wellness check.
Thecoli.com, where nobody actually listens to interviews but are pissed off and outraged nonetheless by a man trying to look out for his neighbor. It is the cop that was in the wrong. Not the neighbor.

The anger is causing trauma as black people we are becoming traumatized which leads to us turning on one another and deflecting to arguments that have little to do with the case that is serving a coping mechanisms. This could be any one of us any day. We dont feel safe or secure in this country and america is not doing anything to reverse that insecurity we have.
In their minds this is "making America great again" or having our people in a place where we are in fear every second of our existence here. It saddens me to know that doing the right things won't secure me long life. 1 thing to get killed in a car accident or illness, another to have cops who you are supposed to feel safe and secure with killing us and recieving slaps on the wrist or no punishment at all after killing us. This country will continue to show us openly what our value is here as long as we exist here we will be under them and executed and murdered for play as they please. It's not the neighbors fault. Let's not deflect to that. We know what this is. Can't keep going case to case trying to pick it apart in hopes to ease the trauma. We know what this is.

Calling the police to check on one of my neighbors wouldn’t even cross my mind if I’m able to walk next door or across the street and check for myself? What’s wrong with people?

I'm not gonna blame the brother for making the call but I know if it was me, I wouldn't had done it. Nobody breaks into a home in the middle of the night when the lights are on all over the house. As far as we know, the woman probably felt comfortable enough to have her doors like that. I didn't watch the video, just couldn't.
I'll just say that the brother should've had more awareness.
It still don't excuse the officer being a trigger happy bytch, doing what he did. This narrative of officers killing unarmed black people due to bad training needs to stop. They're doing it because they WANT to kill unarmed black people and they know they're protected and have a good chance of not receiving any serious punishment.
If all these officers got jail time like that Amber bytch being rightfully punished, they wouldnt be doing it.
Hell we've seen officers earn thousands of dollars through go fund me for killing black people and retire off that shyt.

Had a similar issue where I thought a car me and my partner were selling was stolen. Come to find out one of my partner met the buyer and took the car for a test drive (picked it up from the mechanic).
I was gonna call the cops. But thought second of it. My first thought was what if I call this car in as stolen the cops look for it but come to find out the car wasn't stolen but my partner had it and gets pulled over and shot. My mind was racing cause like me dude married with kids...the last thing I wanted to do was be the cause of him getting smoked by the popo over some miscommunication.
So I said fukk it if we got to lose 5k (which we paid for the car) then so be it. I was gonna wait 24 or 48 hours before I called the car in as stolen.
Saying all of that the cop is fully responsible and needs to be fired and charged with murder.
This shyt reminds me how in atlanta cops busted in the wrong house and shot up this old lady thinking her house was a drug house.
