That shyt is so hard. That's what I was hoping Crash Talk would sound like.

This has to be in the conversation for rap album of the year. All bars no filler. Thought is in his late 40s giving us gems like this
Absolutely. Thought's like the quiet uncle in the corner that won't talk much but when he does everyone's gonna sit down and shut the fukk up.

I think I like this more than Streams 1 and 2. 1 was very break-beat-ish and since it was 9th Wonder I was bummed we didn't get more of a soulful sound. Streams 2 was dope and I should honestly revisit it, but it definitely didn't hit me as hard as this off 1-2 listens.

Just started listening - the energy on those first three songs is just :whoo::whew::merchant:

Appreciating the overall vibe though - it''s on some grown man vibes/ wide brim fedora sporting musical director tip. shyt like this speaks to me in a different way than Roc, Griselda, Gibbs and them, even though that's my favourite wave going right now.
I would love for Phonte and Black Thought to do a project together. They both have basically the exact same energy. They're friends too and the joints they've done together in the past have all been fire. I think that's be a great duo for a one-off album or at least a little EP.

Do they? Phonte sounds more laid back and relaxed

Whatever happened to the group he had formed with Phonte & Rhymefest? Could do without Fest but if it meant a full album of Thought and Phonte I can allow it.
