I am not really into ratchet love music. Jhene Aiko, Mila J, Tink, K. Michelle songs kinda run together and lose me when I play them, even as talented as Jasmine Sullivan is, she loses me with her shyt music (would be on Adeles level if she had better writers). Tinashe's Aquarius album was so so. Like other's said being half black is not her issue, that half white privilege has helped because she is very mediocre. And if she wants Beyonce's audience/appeal she needs to look for better material and do ballads instead of the baby mama anthems. Duets with the likes of Bhris Brown may give her temporary acclaim but she will not have longevity. And if I see her flat cakes rolling around in the floor in boy shorts, skirts, or a crop top/leggings as if she is suffering from period cramps in agony I am going to scream. I don't know who has been managing her image for the last 2 years but each video/photo looks more like a Whoaboyz production.
Also, this chick has a white mother and an immigrant/African father so she really has no authority to speak on colorism in the black community, she just touched down and needs pretend to shut up an color like the rest of them until this system bites them in their ass for at least 2 generations.
