Basically what she's talking about doing is the NOI old nickel a day program, except with her emphasis on lawyers and engineers and other degreed people, she didn't mention the masses.

The program was the Honorable Elijah Muhammad's idea, that's how old it is. I've mentioned it on this board a few times, and was just talking about it a day or so ago.

Min Farrakhan reintroduced the program about 10 years ago. Me and a couple people reworked the program to where working Blacks would set aside a dime a day but nobody was really interested and none of us had the time we'd need to commit to making it work. I think maybe 10 of us donated. About a week ago my potna redid the numbers to 50 cents a day, M-F, which is 2.50 a week/10 dollars a month, 120 a year. Now if we can't mobilize 2 or 3 million Black people to set aside 50 cents a day then there ain't much hope for us.
