How am I advocating for not wanting to try when I'm literally talking about organizations that exist right now that need members and have been putting in work.

Look, I understand how people feel and I'm not trying to say "it's pointless" I'm saying the opposite. I'm saying it's pie in the sky to try and hoard economic power without funneling that power through the existing infrastructure that has been proven to work to help people. Don't lump me in with people who don't want to try. I'm actively sharing my resources with these organizations. Creating more organizations and movements literally harms unity by diluting the power. These groups do and should talk to one another and share information and power. What they need is young people bringing more energy into those movements.

Spending money on black businesses who will seek tax cuts from Republicans anyway isn't the move. The economy is in control of bosses when it needs to be in control of workers. That happens when people unionize, provide mutual aid, and have safety nets for those of us who will engage in direct action by shooting back or blowing up concentration camps, server farms, or counterprotesting nazis that are emboldened to parade through the streets to intimidate whatever black people live in the neighborhood.

This can be a useful hashtag to get people activated, but they need to take that energy to organizations who are currently putting in work.

it's not about being negative bro. it's about having a foundation that doesn't lead to disappointment and frustration in a year. So if u supporting her why you not supporting Ice Cube and Master P then? They been trying to do this for years. Theres a whole convention where various black people have been organized. Essence Fest, Invest Fest etc that actually have capital and resources.

Yall love to call it negative just cause people are skeptical. Setting up little air balloon rides and stabbing at people that try to poke holes in the top. I hope it does work and nobody in the company gets bored or frustrated, or quits in about mid 2026 once the hype of Trump has died down. We are heavily outmanned, outgunned, and lack resources in this country. We have no outside support from any nation to back us. What plan could we have that will be hard to stop even if racists cacs see it coming

Something fundamental and simple like: "Every kid in this family will have a love of education and preparedness instilled into them with a disdain for fukkery, and will be guided into a skilled trade or degrees with careers at the end of them.

That's something that is already practiced in families now that outside forces have to devote resources and time to try and stop.

That's not how it works. You really think those groups are giving their money away to strangers to manage? They pool money and resources in their families and local communities so their investment actually benefits them.

This election taught us the following:

Funding from millionaires and billionaires doesn't matter. Democrats raised far more money and still lost.

Bringing up your opponent's insanity, bigotry, and crimes doesn't work. The media will just clean up his rants and statements to make him seem far more reasonable than he actually is.

Celebrity endorsements don't matter. Hollywood came together like the fukking avengers, and in one case literally the actors from the first movie jumped on a conference call to endorse. That shyt went nowhere.

Avoiding talking about race, gender etc. Didn't matter either. They still put out ads saying 'she's for they/them and he's for you'. They still claimed democrats are letting in cities worth of brown and black people in.

Also black capitalism has been tried and she's talking about segregation, which doesn't work either. She's still thinking about this from a capitalist framework. Capitalism is what got us into this mess with its boom-bust cycle. It doesn't help that black capitalists take the money the community gives them and then spends that money BACK in the white community because "the white man's ice is colder"

Build a coalition with other people who are black and in the same economic situation. Encourage unionization efforts, co-ops and alternative forms of doing business. We don't need a black bank, we need a black credit union. We need a black college of barbers who pay dues to support one another. We need a black fraternity/sorority of engineers who pay dues to the central body which pays for helping them get jobs, start their own businesses within the field and vet potential hires. We need a black sorority/fraternity of medical professionals who pay dues to the organization and can use the collected dues to hire lawyers for frivolous suits because that shyt is definitely coming if a black ob/gyn performs a medically necessary abortion in a red state.

Horizontal power NOT vertical is needed here. Black student organizations that share their resources to support each other in finding jobs post graduation and creating tutoring networks, black think tanks staffed by people who graduated from schools and were part of those organizations. That is how the white reactionaries took down the gains made by reconstruction, and that's what they did to usher the neoliberal hell that has led us to this point. They built power networks and those networks grew over time to the point where they've infested the media, wall street, tech, education, and of course politics.

The Black agenda should be taking over state, county, and city, and neighborhood power preferably in the south. All Black people don't need to move back to the south but we need a critical mass that can take over state governments and put things to work in our favor.

We need our own schools with our own teachers, own curriculum, own superintendents.

When I say our own curriculum I don't mean a bunch of black history, African history and such, I mean a dedication to math, science, literature, technology, arts. Yes arts, drawing, music. People shyt on it but you knowing how to draw, design, be creative, make videos, music....that's everywhere. Every website, every commercial, every online tutorial, every online class presentation with videos and slideshows.

There should be a focus a physical activity, but this should in no way be some sort of hub where we play basketball or football and hope to go to the NCAA or NFL, NBA, etc.

We can't rely on anyone but ourselves or someone who is really vested in educating people to educate our people. If a black kid starts falling behind in math or science white teachers don't care, they'll blame the student, blame the parents, blame the music, sports, drugs, gangs. The principals, deans and superintendents don't care. The budget and the district isn't dependent on black success and black failure just leads to budget increases and funding that never ever goes back to the black students.
