Most of the time it is jealousy that a young breh is excelling so easily so people will find something to pick on to “bring him down” like His clothes, how he speak, if he a nerd breh etc..not just for getting good grades..

I remember in high school, this really smart breh would get clowned because he was always getting good grades and a star student(academically). He did start getting fukked with by some because he wouldn't let people cheat off him or give them the answers or whatever. It was usually the dumb ass class clown that did it, though.

Everyone thought he was going to get with a white girl or whatever, but from what I last heard about him from Facebook like 13 years ago, he was married to a black woman and seemed to be doing well for himself.
