I'd just like to know what exactly the OP and others see as an advantage in isolating yourselves from large swaths of the population? I'm not really sure how that helps in any way shape or form

facts.

They’re concerned because of insecurity and see it as a rejection of themselves.

Perhaps you are right..

But, I find it interesting that some people like to target a specific type of person.

Of all the things that Black people face on a daily basis, mean to tell me that a Black person who chooses to function with non-Blacks is what broke the camel's back??

shyt doesn't make any damn sense!!

Smh..

They had to purposely seek them out and ingratiate themselves with them, because white people don't even talk to black people.

I went to law school for 3 years and probably 2-3 of my white classmates even said one word to me.

When I see a group of white people and I see the one black friend, I already know what type of time they are on.
I can't get them to leave me alone.

It just dawned on me that there are certain people within the Black community that like to target a specific type of Black person based on a perceived notion about that specific person...

Basically, Black people who function with non-Blacks whether it be business or romantically related are considered 'soft targets'.

Also, these soft targets are held to a different set of rules, standards, etc than other Black people.

Brass tax...

For those who have some sort of animus towards certain types of Black people...

If it bothers you that some Black people act a certain way or functions with people you feel that shouldn't function with, then what are you going to do about it?

Do you think that smiting these people on a messageboard is going to stop them from being who they are and/or doing what they are doing?

Are you going to befriend these types of people? Are you going to set them up and hook them up with someone you feel they need to be with? Are you willing to network and provide business opportunities for these people?

Another thing..

Why do some Black people who take issue with another Black person care so much about what these people are doing or with, especially if that person being judged isn't personally affecting the judging Black person's life?

Moral of the story..

Finger waggers have a lot of nerve to be pointing a finger at someone while ignoring the remaining fingers pointing back at them!

If a Black person has an issue with another Black person, then said person need to address it promptly or fall back and leave the other person alone!
