Black people who have a bunch of white friends are suspect

I never asked anybody this, but how can you have White friends, or even a White friend period, without talking about racism , especially in todays racist climate, with the high number of White police getting away with shooting unarmed Black people. The same question goes for Black people who have White spouses. If you can't speak up about this injustice to your White friends, or your White spouse, I guess that would make you suspect.

For those of you who lived around, or grew up around White people, and still stay in touch with them, that's has to affect your friendship.

Depends on where you live. In Boston, it’s common for black people to have white friends.

I grew up in the Roxbury part of Boston (the hood for those not in the know) and somehow ended up with a few white friends growing up I still talk to to this day.

I didn’t seek them out.

my friends that I actively go out with / talk to are all black / Cape Verdean and Dominican though.
