Yeah ask the people in Jackson Mississippi how that’s working out for them. Some of the states in the south with largest black populations in the country are areas where we’re the most oppressed and disenfranchised despite making heavy contributions to the state Economy and well being of the people that live there.

What flourishing non-southern communities are black folks currently living in? Literally only 19 majority black counties are high income and those are mostly in the South. I'll wait.
