Nepotism is inherently bad for prosperity. The idea is centered around creating opportunities for those closest to you rather than people who actually deserve it. What happens is stagnation and eventually regression.

Let your kids feast but make sure they gonna improve the family recipe someday. Black people, people of colour can't just adopt the white model for nepotism. But you're right, glamorizing some struggle culture is retarded. Not sure why people have a perverse pride in suffering.

But what you're describing isn't really true nepotism. It's like diet nepotism. Value village nepotism. That military grade nepotism is the shyt that creates landed gentry for only a select few, at the cost of greater society.

A story on nepotism

Nepotism is definitely the key. My mother occupies senior level positions in several hospitals and always hooks up black women over these cacs. She tells me about all these ex-dope fiend cacs who get walked right through the process by their counter parts. The way my moms even got one of her senior positions is because another black woman who occupied the position suggested my mother and greased a few elbows for her to get the job. If you're against us doing this then you're playing to lose because for instance in the hospital field these latino's do it, the Filipino's do it and you'd be a dumbass to not play the game.

Thats how that Roscoes got taken over by Latinos who give black customers attitude..

Damn sure I'm using my Grandpas and uncles connects to get in at a certain company

I want a dynasty, not some "YOU 10? WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE I WAS 11" bullshyt

Yeah, yeah, i know not ALL of us hate on nepotism, but many do. I'm not the only one who noticed this either because other threads have been made about it in the past:
Why is nepotism frowned upon in the Black community?

Nepotism - the practice among those with power or influence of favoring relatives or friends, especially by giving them jobs. It usually takes the form of employing relatives or appointing them to high office. It is based on favor granted in various fields, including business, politics, entertainment, sports, religion and other activities.

That being said, Black people need to get rid of this mentality that "starting from the bottom" and struggling every generation makes you "realer" and noble. Stop glamorizing it. "They ain't start from the bottom...their PARENTS put them on!" That's GOOD...if being a real nikka is about starting from the bottom, pressing the RESET button every generation, then i don't want to be a real nikka then :dame:

We need to break this anti-nepotism mentality and start practicing it with our own kids/relatives. NEPOTISM IS NOT BAD/WRONG. Stop hating on it and DO IT.

When i was about 15, i worked in my dad's business. I also would assist him with maintaining houses he owned or picking up rent from tenants after i got my license etc
And even though this was real work, there were some other black people my age (or even older) who would hate on me for it, because they had to work at McDonald's or Wendy's, and act like i wasn't as "real" because i didn't have to work some fast food job under a bunch of white managers.

I also think some of the hate was due to the fact i enjoyed working for my Pops. i didn't hate my job, it was work, but i didn't hate it. I also got to see firsthand how you run a business. Other nikkas would be mad about having to go clock in at Bojangles and slaving for white ppl, but i liked my job. Now i am a landlord myself and also have my own business, but i may not have if it weren't for learning from my father. My father did what he was supposed to.

I get that not everyone can do the same thing my dad did. But, you can at least do something on a smaller scale. At least have a decent savings and investments. And teach them financial literacy.

Been meaning to make a similar thread for the longest. Our obsession with the struggle has outlived it's usefulness. +rep

How else do all you brehs (who disagreed) expect us to get more black people in MANAGERIAL and OWNERSHIP positions? Good luck with waiting on white and asian men to do it. We have to do it ourselves, we have to build and help our families and friends etc. Like other races do. But cowards don't want to. Unfortunately these cowards are about 75% of our population.

You notice that they always disagree but never have an alternative solution, counterargument or plan for what we should do. If you disagree, at least have some other idea that you propose :comeon:instead of just saying "i don't agree, and i don't like you, nikka"

I realized this late in life. It's partly on the kids to take advantage as well. If your Dad is a lawyer don't go to school for culinary arts or some shyt. His connections/refeences in law will make it easier for you than others to make it in that field. Obviously if your parents are janitors or something this doesn't apply but if you can be successful following in their foot steps you should do it. My dad is an Accountant, i was able to intern at his office while in school for accounting and already had a resume with references upon graduation. I got hired very quickly. His company even offered me a position but they wanted me to relocate to Tennessee. Can't be too obvious with the nepotism by having father and son in the same office. :lolbron:

That said, you should make use of your parents success to build your own. Stop trying to start from bottom if you don't have to.

Nepotism is not helping your family members by giving them advantages, it’s giving contracts using other people’s money or power over others to your family and friends despite their qualifications.

How could this possibly be a good thing? If I’m a doctor and I give my son a job as a doctor at my hospital, that’s not nepotism. But if I appoint my son head physician despite being grossly unqualified, that’s nepotism.

It’s an awful and insidious thing to do.

Nepotism is GOAT :wow:

Walking into work early morning knowing the whole operation belongs to your family :wow:

Knowing all these people depend on your family to pay their bills :wow:

Knowing when the OGs pass away, that they gon pass you the torch :wow:

Its a certain pride when your family is operating from a position of power :wow:

Life is about building foundations and building on top of that for the next generation... If your parents had a business or property, you supposed to expand the operation and take it to the next level :wow:

Everybody eats b :wow:

But nepotism doesnt always work.... Sometimes the kid turns out to be a lazy bum and fukks up everything and ends up as a drug addict LOL :mjcry:

But for the most part.... When your family has a culture of entrepreneurship and ownership... You embrace that like religion.

:wow:

Get ya money my nikkas
The downside, your dad forcing you into it at 11 years old when you want to play Sega. But that's about it. Getting fired comes with whipping and be forced to work the entire summer.

It definitely is backwards. I've been noticing this for awhile, and based on what i've seen, a lot of black americans believe in something that no one else does. That help from your parents or relatives is weak, and that non-blacks who acquired ownership did it without any help. It's like we don't get that they pool their money together, open a business, hire each other etc. That's how they get it in the first place. Black people have fell for the "individualistic" spiel, meanwhile other races are pooling money together, building businesses, hiring each other and practicing group economics. But we think this individualistic mentality is winning, when it is really failing. That's why brehs are proud to come on here saying that their kids "aren't getting a handout" :gucci:

We don't get how this stuff works. That's exactly why nikkas used to laugh at Indians and Mexicans clothing or "swag", or how they lived with their fam, pooling their money together. Now fast forward years later, they can't laugh at them because you see them with business ownership and land ownership. We only think about TODAY, so we didn't see what their end goal was, we saw them wearing clothes from Wal Mart and living together and thought they were going to stay in that position, but they were working together to OWN something. Now many have businesses, real estate, can afford better cars, better clothes or what they want.

Our definition/view of "independence" is way off too. We think renting some little place, living check to check, working some mediocre 9 to 5 under a bunch of white ppl is being independent. No, OWNERSHIP is independence. And to get to the point of ownership, you often need to work with your family or friends or someone. Some ppl get there all by themselves, but most had help from family and there's no shame in it. I don't know when black ppl in general will get this :snoop:Seems like we would have caught on to what everyone else is doing by now

It's crazy that there was a point in history where us blacks thought like a collective, but now this backward western way has made everyone become individualistic which benefits government and big corporations in the long run hence why they aren't for pologny(Polygamy)

I have to blame financial illiteracy that's clearly affecting the Blacks in America on, dumb ass predecessors that only talk about going to college or how many women they should fukk, I blame academia which doesn't teach people to be financially independent instead they rear and groom students to follow the status quo and prepare them to be corporate slaves without thinking outside the box, in college it's fully embraced debt culture and consumerism. There's no wonder people got shyt fukked up on assests and liabilities, for instance an Uncle of mine has been leasing a Mercedes and acting as if he's the shyt as if everything was gravy, my relatives where boosting his ego up and shyt, however he didn't impress me at all because I'm fully aware that he's paying for a car that's quickly losing it's value and the fact that it's not his own car. Now this time my uncle got his 3rd house on mortage, again my were relatives marvelled at his so called success, I decided to burst one of my releatives bubble by saying that it's not my uncles house he does not own it all if he goes through hard times now like losing his job he'll also lose the house as he went be able to keep up with the bills LOL I then get called a hater for giving the facts.

I live in England most of the blacks over here are also financial dumb. Yep they are big spenders as usual, there's only a few that own there own shyt but they ain't passing it down to their children. The indian's, Pakistani's, Arab's and Khazar(Fake jews) literally own familiy banks, resturants, Taxi firms, Supermarkets, health clinics, Car dealerships, commercial land and etc. What of these groups have in common is they hire mainly people of their nationality, they hire extented family and usally have one son as the successor or some times they give joint ownership to various sons, even the middle-middle class cacs do the latter only difference is they have their daughters as successors of the company. In my opinion there's only a few of us negroes that will implement this way of living our people are comfortable working various hours for corporations that don't give two shyts about their wellbeing and how they feel. I just hope these selfish average joe's avoid bringing children to this world as the child will be at a huge disadvantage.

Powerful shyt right here....... Its almost too obvious actually. But people still buy into that bullshyt.
