The Midwest
America wouldn't exist without the nepotism of white slave owners passing down their fortunes/property and human slaves (that they didn't work for and inherited from their parents) down to their kids so they could do the same and repeat the process.

Any black person against it should be neutered

Trump got his whole damn unqualified family in the white house with jobs

That growing up rich documentary break it down. 5x grandfather founded the company and the heir sitting on a fortune just for waking up everyday :wow:

The vast majority of young black people couldn't benefit from nepotism. That’s the problem.

When I was 21, literally nobody I knew likely earned more than 40k. A couple successful dudes from Church gave me some good advice and looked out for me but worked in fields that did not interest me at all.

As soon as I got on, I built relationships, my friends and general network become more successful and it’s now helping me along.

But nepotism is always going to favour those in power and negate the have nots. So I can’t look at it as a good thing.

Nepotism is the key.

I was 17 working in my father's business giving orders to grown ass 30 year olds.

Its all about building wealth and empowering those close to you with opportunities. Anybody who has a problem with nepotism is a hater. Life is about nepotism. If you care about your kids, youll practice nepotism and bless them with knowledge as well.

They think nepotism is bad because they're getting there jobs from white people who use nepotism.
You build your own shyt and use nepotism to your advantage but that's a whole different platinum thread.
I agree 100%, but their views towards others who practice nepotism is what made me make this thread. BP need to stop hating on it and start practicing it ourselves.

There was a thread about a basketball player, i can't remember who, but his son works for him and he's likely grooming him to take over the business one day.

A lot of ppl came in the thread saying,
"He's another spoiled rich kid :beli:"

"He didn't get that job on his own merit"

"He needs to go work a regular job, when i was 16 i was working at Burger King, it builds character"

"He needs to learn hard work" etc

I was like, working in his dad's business IS work :snoop:. And you're SUPPOSED to help your kids in some way. It's like some of us don't view working for your family, or getting connections (or money) from them as "REAL".....we think putting your family or friends on is "bad".....to be a "real nikka" you have to start from the bottom with nothing....as i said if that's being real, i don't want to be

Nepotism is trash.

That’s why dictatorship eventually fail

You wanna hire your homeboy who’s a fuk up instead of a qualified candidate

Go ahead:yeshrug:
Nah that’s bolllocls breh.

I’m always looking to get my people paid. Utilise my peoples talents.

The fact your homeboy is a fukk up is an even bigger problem. Only surround yourself with people that are about something.

I'd rather put someone on who can acutally do the job, mainly because your kids aren't gonna have the same drive for your business that you do.

that's just me
Not a bad point but it's up to the parents to help instill that drive. That can probably be done without giving the kid a job but it is one way to do it.

As i said, for those who are conveniently skipping/overlooking it

If you had to start from the bottom, there's no shame in that, but you should be trying to break that cycle for your own kids. Just because you had to start from the bottom doesn't mean your kids should have to. If you're logging in here saying "i started from scratch, nobody gave me nothin', so why should i give my kids somethin?" You're a prime example of what i mean.

You don't want to help your kids, AND you hate on others who help their kids. "Why they givin their kids a handout???"

They have negative views because how many black people have ever been in a possession to hand anything down to their children? You're supposed to hand a business down to your children and put them in positions to succeed in life.

Does anyone who can but doesn't practice nepotism really take care of their family?

But that in itself leads to more problems than it solves in the long run.

The people with the talent at the bottom wither away to rot because they weren't born into the right family or situation isn't any better.

Ok, in this case, it's not just about family, it's about black people who can do the job. We need more networks to hire each other.

Black people only bash white nepotism, because we don't have the same kind of network, and aren't in enough positions to hook each other up. And when it comes to white owned companies, they are not letting too many of us in, because they will never allow themselves to be outnumbered. It's never about who is the most qualified, it's about who they want to succeed. I don't think black people are bashing black nepotism. We need to be exercising this as much as possible. We just have to be in the position to practice it in the first place.

Man old nikkas won't even let u use them as a reference if they got a good job, meanwhile brad got his whole extended family on.

One poster said he'd rather hire someone who can "do the job", how much u wanna bet his qualification of who can "do the job" is the same one lost nikkas use to determine "the good walmart", or "the good part of town"

Nepotism is GOAT :wow:

Walking into work early morning knowing the whole operation belongs to your family :wow:

Knowing all these people depend on your family to pay their bills :wow:

Knowing when the OGs pass away, that they gon pass you the torch :wow:

Its a certain pride when your family is operating from a position of power :wow:

Life is about building foundations and building on top of that for the next generation... If your parents had a business or property, you supposed to expand the operation and take it to the next level :wow:

Everybody eats b :wow:

But nepotism doesnt always work.... Sometimes the kid turns out to be a lazy bum and fukks up everything and ends up as a drug addict LOL :mjcry:

But for the most part.... When your family has a culture of entrepreneurship and ownership... You embrace that like religion.

:wow:

Get ya money my nikkas
