Hmmm. Not a bad thought OP. shyt is true. On two separate occasions years ago I went to a pizza shop and it was just brehs making it. It was pretty good too. They didn't own the shop though. Then another time some Turkish people who owned their shop were making it.

It's less about knowing how to make a pizza and more about knowing how to start a business.

I could easily learn how to make a good pizza from a 15-minute Youtube video, but I wouldn't even know where to start when it comes to opening up a business and probably wouldn't be able to get a loan anyway.

That is the biggest hurdle for blacks. Not saying that they can't get a loan, but you know anybody else can get it much easier. It would be something where you just get a business license to start. Sell the shyt out your house till you can have some financial backing if you can't get a loan. OP still has a good thought out there though.

You are the owner... You work 7 days a week for years .. Stressed the fuk out,... Until it becomes moderately successful, and build good management to help u eventually and u can trust them to half way run it to your expectations... Then you can take some time off... Half a sweet vacation somewhere with bad bytches, blue water n white beaches, strong fruity drinks.... But yeah It takes commitment, hard work , sacrifice to be successful in all buisness.. That's why everyone just dreams of becoming scarface and in the dope game... The easy way out!!!

Yeah. I'd the first to admit that I'm not business savvy. I always recommended it to people who are though. I just did the school thing. It worked out pretty good for me. Doesn't always though.

many Jamaican/carribean foods are run by Chinese and Indians...I used to go tomainshaws when it was black. I go to another place and that place is black owned. The best patty place that I have been to on eglinton west and oakwood are owned by Jamaican Chinese. There is a black lady behind the counter that works as a cashier but still. Yet the black Jamaican community is huge. Blacks just lack business sense...I really don't know how we can fix it.

i disagree to a certain extent. i know plenty of island folks who own their own business and are successful. no white or asian man own shyt. even my friends father who is Jamaican, started off with a small island food restaurant, and within his 5 year of running his business, he bought another store close to his small restaurant, and expanded on that. if you know how to run your business the right way you'll be successful.
