Black people from the suburbs try wayyyy to hard to fit in

This thread is stupid. What's worse is the ones who come from the hood to the suburbs and try to maintain some sort of tough, rah-rah attitude. Many of them are put into better situations. Maybe their parents came up and dad got a good job. Maybe their parents shipped them to a relatives crib for better education and safety. But for some reason they fail to realize the blessing and continue with the same bullshyt they were doing in "the hood."

I know nikkas that have died for this exact reason. I hate to sound ignorant so sorry if I do because as I've heard you can't take the hood out of a nikka. But I'm sorry...if anything is worse it is the fact that people love to glorify the hood. I'm all for somebody bigging themselves for surviving through adversity and repping they area. Especially because the hood has many small things that we grow to cherish. But to act like it some sort of heaven is status.

I'd like to live among people I like. Just because you're black doesn't mean I'd like you, and that goes for any other race.

I live in the hood, I'm still friends with all the people I grew up with even though my life on some new shyt. I know some cacs in the cac areas, I like them the same. Don't let other people define you brehs.
