Being biracial is a very confusing experience, I would know since I am one technically

But rather than tracking down my heritage in Panama, Ireland, Barbados, etc., I just say I'm black and call it a day. We're all from Africa anyways

Edit:

I asked my dad what family members we got in Panama once and he deadeyed stared at me and said "None. They dead to me. Youre the only family I got":russ::russ::russ:
POPS a real one:russ::wow:

Tbf Jamaicans claim africa as the motherland. Even Garvey said he would never trade a continent for a small island
The only west indians I've seen claim Africa are the rastafari with an affinity for Ethiopia but that's anecdotal so :patrice:

I'm being hyperbolic, but they claim that if you have a non black parent you're not black, but if you have 1 black and 1 bi racial, then I guess they wouldn't be black either :jbhmm:

I think that's reasonable if you looking specifically at genetic makeup. I have no problem with bi-racials identifying as black because I think it is mostly based on upbringing and personal experiences, but it doesn't mean you ignore the fact that they have a white parent because that is important an factor as well.
