I'm not sure. I think one has to do with anxiousness in crowds or public and the other is anxious all the time.
Well damn, pretty sure I have GAD; I’m anxious all the time.

I had a site but I took it down. Was getting too busy to keep it up. At the moment this is a coli thing. I'd love to expand it. Did you have people you wanted to direct to a resource?Hey brother do you have any links I can check out about some of the help your giving to the little brothers around your community? Or is this black men outreach and words of rejuvenation just for you know, thecoli brehs
Can we get an update on this breh?A lot of people overcompensating.
Guys that haven't even fully matured mentally have been to war right in their own neighborhoods and they walk around like they're normal. Like there isn't trauma sitting in the back of their minds influencing everything the do in some way shape or form.
Nobody is a lost cause but that's why we gotta get to the kids before they get so far down that path.
Then you have guys that have done time that don't even know how to live on the outside anymore, they gave a compulsion toward living prison life...my family treats my uncle like shyt. He been in and out of prison since before I was born and is in a halfway house now at like 56 years old over some bullshyt..20 some odd years for a non violent drug offender. But yea he's supposed to come back home in a month or so and I already know how it's gonna go. Somebody gonna take him in, deal with him like they would deal with someone who is relatively sane. They'll shyt on him, reject him and he'll get back to the drugs.
I been preparing to try and keep that cycle from repeating, I think I can help him break that pattern.
Thanks breh.Good thread brehs, for anyone with anxiety and depressed mood try these things. 1) exercise- research shows to be as effective as medication- and even better if you can do exercises with one or more other person ( it helps with the communal aspect of depressed mood and anxiety) 2) omega 3 fish oil- again very clinically effective at helping mood. 3) Chammomile tea- again clinically effective and I don’t know the research for other teas, this is specific for chammomile tea. 4) look up the mammalian diver reflex- but it entails filling the sink with cold water, you can add ice to make it colder. Then hold your breath and submerge your face in it and stay there holding your breath as long as you can. When you remove your head your feelings of anxiety will greatly decrease.
Great update bro.Checking in....
I been going to therapy over 6 months and man I couldn't be more thankful. My therapist has pretty much taught me how to rationalize my anxiety away. I don't really see a "need" to keep going but I'm gonna keep going anyway because I can slowly see my self improvement through this. If you guys know anyone who struggles with anxiety/depression I'd really recommend they give at least one therapy session a shot. You never know how impactful it could be
Did he show signs of depression? Did he talk about suicide before hand? How are you processing it?My best friend who was like a brother hung himself last weekend....his funeral is today.....
