Black Panther. I really liked Logan, but it didn't have me pushing to watch it this many times in theaters as often and I've not even watched it on Blu Ray yet since having it.

As much as I like the wolverine.

Logan is one of those movies you watch for the story and journey. Outside of that there isn't much going for it.

It's not really world building
has basically 3 characters to follow
The scenes aren't as busy as BP.

Despite that, the directing and acting is great enough to still warrant a second viewing. It's more grounded so unless you know of wolverine you probably won't be interested in viewing multiple times.



With Black Panther, the movie is beautiful and a non-fan could easily watch it multiple times and see new things. It has everything Logan has except for the tone and sense of dread throughout the film. Something Logan uses well all the way to the ending.

I agree to most of this, cept that I still give plot to BP as well and I'd give Logan the better action. Logan's action was more visceral and didn't have any bad CGI marring it down.

black panther by a slim margin. logan as a character shyts on tchalla any day of the week. i like chadwick but i felt his performance wasnt as strong as michael b jordans, the chick from walking dead and even the dude who played mbaku.

thats why i prefer black panther over logan because it had so much strong characters even tho the lead was kind subdued.

both are my top 2 superhero movies.

The kids using their powers at the end? I don't know what type of special effects were involved but it was not good. They did X-23 justice but all those other kids looked crazy.
