Get somebody who can act. You can always teach somebody how to fight later.
Why are you guys discounting Idris Elba just because he was heimdall in thor? You guys know Chris Evans was Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four movies right? He's captain america now.
A movie like Black Panther needs a widely known name to put asses in seats. Idris Elba is a young enough, well known and a good enough actor to do it. Whether or not he looks muscular or not is irrelevant. Look at Chris Evans. Dude wasn't really looking that tough and then he got brolic as hell for Captain America.
The problem with getting the movie made will be the fact that there will have to be some white heroes in there even if it makes no sense for them to be there. White people won't see a movie if it doesn't have some white faces in there unless we're talking black comedies like those Tyler Perry joints. So they'll probably stick Captain America or Iron Man in there.
The Fantastic 4 movies and Captain America wont ever be in a conflict with each other because they exist in separate universes due to who owns the rights. You cant have people playing the same characters when everything exists in the same universe. You cant have this guy being in Thor 1 and 2, and then turn around and have him be Black Panther. What happens in Avengers 3 if Black Panther is a part of it and something happens where they need to go to Asgard?

They should go young (mid-20s) and British with the casting.
'Thor 2' Will Be 'Huge,' Idris Elba Promises - Music, Celebrity, Artist News | MTV.comA movie like "The Avengers" doesn't just make $1 billion in a little less than 20 days without having a few sequels already in the pipeline. So, of course, the folks over at Marvel are already hard at work on a handful of follow-ups, including "Thor 2."
MTV News spoke with Idris Elba while he was promoting Prometheus" about reprising his role as the Asgardian gatekeeper, Heimdall, for the sequel, once again starring Chris Hemsworth in the title role. "Thor 2," which is scheduled to head into production later this year, is said to explore the other realms of the universe, outside of Asgard and Earth, so that would mean a heavier workload for Heimdall.
Idris Elba Promises 'Thor 2' Will Be 'Huge'
Though production has not officially begun, Elba has already started some prep. "I'm actually excited about it," he said. "I literally just did a costume fitting the other day."
Elba, who has only seen an outline of the story so far, said that he does anticipate a larger role for Heimdall in the sequel, but added that "Thor 2" will also be taking a closer look at the people who populate the mythical world. "Definitely Heimdall's more involved, but also, what's more involved is who the Asgardians are," he said. "I think we'll see a sense of that."
As past interviews with the cast have indicated, the scale of "Thor 2" is quite large, but Elba suggested that the focus narrows in on character in a way we haven't seen before. "It's a huge film, 'Thor 2,' but I also think it's micro in a way that you start to look at people, who they are a little bit more."
