Everything you typed was spot fukking on sir...
The only two things I would even remotely counter (and not really counter, just an observation) is that One, even though I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of the token black character being included in some "We're here too! Yippeee" vibe I WOULD say that at least in the case of Captain America, The Falcon is a much respected character throughout the Marvel universe. He's not even considered a sidekick of CA more so a partner and colleague in the comics, he even co-starred with CA in their own title for awhile, so I don't see the casting of that character as a "token" per say and regarding how the movie and his potrayal are represented in the movie might be a good second step in diversifying the universe (the first being Rodey)
Secondly, like another poster already said, I highly doubt Marvel would want to fukk up their cash cow universe by deliberately making a shytty Black Panther movie, which unfortunately is why I think they won't be bothered to actually MAKE a standalone BP flick. BP is a noble, independent, intelligent and charismatic King ho takes shyt from NO ONE and I don't think ANY studio would really want to portray such a rich black character without the aforementioned A-list of Will Smith or a proven box office commodity. They'd rather make a goddamn Dr.Strange or Guardians Of the Galaxy movie than invest heavily in the "risk" of Black Panther. Which is sad indeed
appreciate it man!
And I agree with your points. I may have been unfair and dismissive to the Falcon character in that regard. Also as an aside, i do want to point out/make clear that I absolutely have no problem with Anthony Mackie either (not that you said i did, but just in case anyone got that impression). I may mock the typecasting he seems stuck with as the token black sidekick/3rd piece character but I absolutely/obviously want all the youngins like him, Jaden, Chadwick, john boyega, michael b jordan, Curtis from Misfits and any other young buck i may be forgetting to get their shine in material outside of black romantic comedies, 'hood classics', and the typical biopic take on 'overcoming racism with the admirable guidance of a courageous noble white guy' role.
With that being said, i wouldn't be surprised if a decade from now when Jaden is in his mid 20s and succeeds his father as the new block buster cash cow (and i'm rooting for him too and to not turn crazy like child hood stars typically seem to), that Marvel comes running to him for a black panther franchise lead role or to remix an "ultimate spiderman" run as miles morales. but until then, or until/unless any of the other names i mentioned really blow in popularlity, i'm with you in that i don't expect anything as far as standalone films.
