Black owned business blames the community for them going bankrupt. Is the community obligated to help struggling restaurants?

My company is doing sensational, almost exclusively off of black customers. Perhaps superior products and a strong theme is what they lack. This is just a 2 week haul and I literally took a week off to work on production.

Petty Vandross.. fukk Yall
Profit margins are small in the restauraunt industry, even among popular establishments. I would also bet that the BBQ market is saturated in Texas.
That’s not an excuse to serve day old food fam
Yes the market for bbq is over saturated in Texas
But if you aren’t putting out quality product with stellar service
Then by no means should you go into business of any kind
Especially a restaurant
We are going to eventually have to have a real conversation about black establishments and just trying to get by on support black owned businesses with trash products/shytty attitudes
I’ll be a c00n but some of these places be on omega bullshyt with black folks
But show the fukk out when nonblacks come in who don’t know no better
Smiling from ear to ear and going above and beyond

Idk breh, idk if you really are the target audience of this statement. You are filling a niche with a limited scope. They are doing business that everyone is doing

Yeah, that is the problem. When you go into mass market fields, you gotta have either a superior product, or a strong mission statement. Take "Mission BBQ" for example.

Military themes, military discounts, a vibe on service and patriotism. Good enough food where people who eat barbeque will not easily be able to choose one brand over the other. At that point, which do you BELIEVE in?

This is why they have been successful growing their franchise.

What is the mission behind the brand and is the brand competitive enough to make it a toss up?

I never had a white owned business literally cuss me out…
You ain't never been to a real white own business then. Corporate shyt don't matter if you never had a business owner ask you to wait outside while they make your order and they'll bring it out for you to go or had a white serve toss your food down and walk off in disdain, well let's just say :smugbiden:

This is what anybody getting in the industry needs to know. It's not a place to have high profits. Especially in the beginning.

most resturants go out of business....its a cut throat business and you have to be on point 99.99% of the time. With all these resturants and options out here....you can't be thinking people owe your business their dollar for being so called black owned.....alot of black owned resturants are making excellent food with great service and don't need to be put in the same convo with these places that are all around flopping.

Aka "White people get one over on black people with overvalued, low quality goods all the time so how come I can't do it?"

If you were serving mid ass food with DIRT CHEAP prices, I would probably eat at your establishment every day. Stop trying to juug your own people just so you can brag about not working a 9-5! :pacspit:

black owned doesn't mean you need to rely exclusively on black dollars.

Communities garner wealth by bringing in outside money. Not by redistributing wealth amongst themselves.
Grifters profit only off their own. Business man just profit.
Tourism economy mindset.. if we can lock in on that, we can see some real change—good and bad, but necessary

It’s always black people making public statements like this only to black owned businesses, but you never see these bytches bytching about the mediocre services they get at a white restaurant. :scust:
