Black owned business blames the community for them going bankrupt. Is the community obligated to help struggling restaurants?

Crashing out over a failed business is bad business. Let's keep it a bean, the game is saturated with restaurants and quite frankly, why would I spend damn near 20 for one sorry meal, when I can just use five bucks and make a good meal at home?

Most of the food served nowadays is sprinkled with garnish anyway. But back to what I said in the beginning STOP CRASHING OUT OVER A FAILING TO FAILED BUSINESS!

Reminds me of this hotel my family and I lived in where the reviews shytted on the bad conditions (bed bugs that my wife ended up having, drugs, etc)

The owner replied with snarky and tea spilled replies about the reviewer.

Like breh, I get it, people are parasite, but this is still a business. You got to keep ya head leveled, and if you failed you failed ..sorry.

You have to be a damn fool to open a restaurant in this day and age. You can’t meet your margins and will need a heavy investment of working capital. It’s not worth it plus everyone thinks they are a food critic now.
Yup.

Sad shyt is some of these places have cacs as the frontmen/women even though owned by black people because they know how some of our people act when it comes to reviews/feedback. I personally don't give places bad reviews even though I think their service may have been ass or the food meh at best. I just don't fukk with em no more.

Square biz, when I review it's usually the nicest way possible. I only gave a negative review if I dealt with traumatic experiences and even that's two stars with critique.

I'm like this. If the food or service is tolerable, you are alright in my book. The chicken is dead and not doing the stanky leg on my plate, we fine.

But if I get shytted on, my food has a pulse, and I catch something during the festivities, of course I'm regulating.

Gas is expensive to deliver goods
Electricity prices have gone up over 100 percent
Meat & grocery items are expensive
Your best option is to eat & prepare your own meals

It depends; if the restaurant/businesses aren't putting out a quality product or having reasonable prices that reflect the financial state of the community (low-income, working class, middle class, etc), then that's on them to have to close up shop. Look, just because a business or restaurant is Black-owned doesn't mean the bar has to be lowered in terms of quality or raised in regards to commission.

Secondly, sometimes Black-owned businesses have to get out of this mindset of treating Black consumers and patrons as if they “owe” them. For example, the owner gets a slight attitude because of not getting enough support from the local community.

Well, if the food and prices were as good or reasonable as they claimed they wouldn't be going out of business. The owner doesn't wanna look in the mirror and acknowledge their mistakes but blames the customer(s) and/or the community for their downfall. That's not how you run a business, you have to bond and show a sense of familiarity with the local people within the community and show that you care about the people.

You have to compete and give people what THEY want.

Running a business doesn’t mean it makes you the ruler of a fiefdom. You have to give people what they want in reality.. not what you want.

You are supposed to be running a business that pays for itself

If the food is good, most people will ignore bad customer service for the most part.........at least I do.......I don't give a fukk about the people. My food is good and my cup stays full I'll be back no problem. I think most people issue is that want to IMMEDIATELY reap the benefits without having put in time to build a customer base that will fukk with your establishment through the price increases.......they all coming out the gate with high ass prices and hit or miss food

Exactly, too many business owners fall into the trap of thinking owning a business makes them a boss.
But really it only makes you a boss once the business becomes successful and essential. until then everybody you provide services for is the boss and you got cater to them, not the other way around.

It’s always black people making public statements like this only to black owned businesses, but you never see these bytches bytching about the mediocre services they get at a white restaurant. :scust:

True, I've received poor services at white and Asian restaurants even moreso than black owned ones. But it seems like the food just wasn't that good.

My company is doing sensational, almost exclusively off of black customers. Perhaps superior products and a strong theme is what they lack. This is just a 2 week haul and I literally took a week off to work on production.

black owned doesn't mean you need to rely exclusively on black dollars.

Communities garner wealth by bringing in outside money. Not by redistributing wealth amongst themselves.
Grifters profit only off their own. Business man just profit.
