There aren't explicit theological distinctions in the Quran, though the history told by the Quran itself bears out my argument to some degree. There are definitely explicitly (non-Black) Arab supremacist statements in several of the Hadiths, though.

My point isn't that religions are inherently racist, but that religions were historically tied to the ethnic groups in which they originated, and pretty much every one of those groups already had an ethnocentric attitude that manifested itself in the religion's history and limited their claims to universalism. Even Paul's supposed "universalism" was only really reserved for converts.

The effectively anti-racist forms of religion are all the result of its appropriation by victimized groups, not benevolent mandates from the dominant/originating group.

You said he made a thread about Islam as if Islam is the only religion that oppresses black people. He did none of the sort. You just made that up. He pointed out that Muslims have treated black Africans poorly. He doesn't have to qualify his statement by pointing out that x, y, and z oppressed black people too in order to criticize the actions of Muslims.

Agenda? are you talking about? He's making the case that Muslims have mistreated blacks. That is no more of an agenda than someone making a thread about how Christians have mistreated blacks. However, if someone makes a thread about that, and they have, you would just co-sign it instead of typing paragraphs and posting pictures about Muslims enslaving blacks and chopping their dikks off, talking about they have an anti-Christian agenda. But when someone takes Islam to task you deflect and You're the only one with an agenda. Your agenda is Islam. Give it a rest.

How can you be black, but pray to a religion created for white people. Black Americans are weak because they believe in Jesus, so they believe god is white. You're probably going to see more threads about Muslim racism toward blacks than Christian racism toward blacks for obvious reasons. We're Americans so we know the history of Christian racism toward blacks. It's a given. Muslim racism isn't as conspicuous and known. Also there's a number of Muslim posters here who argue vigorously that racism in Islam isn't an issue. Also, there's still a notion that persists among black Muslims and blacks sympathetic to Islam that somehow Islam is "the black man's true religion" or that somehow Islam is more compatible with or more personal to the black condition and morally superior to Christianity as it pertains to blacks. People like me vehemently reject that notion and say Islam is just another piece of shyt religion that oppresses black people just like Christianity, and black people would be better off saying fukk em both.
