They could have gotten a woman to play his platonic homegirl or something
I'm watching right now..the character just beat his ass and started kissing him
And I'm bushing this gay ass shyt

:scust:

The game doesn't make em try to fukk each other
These nikkas gay
I think that's what pissed me off most about Striking Vipers. Wait. PAUSE. I just caught the double entendre STRIKING VIPERS as the title of an episode about homosexual men.

Back to my original point, the shyt was just a poorly written episode. Usually what makes BM episodes pop is that characters through the NORMAL use of the grain become addicted with an alternate reality. Nothing about a FIGHTING GAME that simulates pain would make you start fukking.

They laid out the depression in all characters well. It's a regular trope. Married guy envies the single guy. Single guy envies the married guy. However nothing connects to homosexuality. Nothing. The Rodman joke and the couch humping is supposed to be the tip off but IT'S LAZY.

The video game should've been the Sims and the husband's addiction should've been about living a fantasy marriage in a Sims online community where everyone is trying to escape their reality. Everyone already knows that people have fun making the Sims fukk. Make the episode about that.

But if you still want to do this gay bro episode to lecture men about fluidity make the game a fukkn adventure or action RPG where they bond over hours of gameplay. fukk this was lazy. I don't think a single writer on the show is an actual gamer. We been been saying anime and female fighting characters with huge bouncing t*ts are made for weirdo anti-social non-p*ssy getting gamers. Just work with that.

Episode 1 was comedy, great episode. Y’all just a little homophobic. The premise opens up a good discussion about VR, cause if you fukkin in VR, you fukkin in VR. I’m not tryna smash the homies tho, that’s fukked :russ: But it’s crazy to think like, what if the sensation is better than anything you’ll ever feel in the real world? nikkas get hooked on drugs everyday and that might be the greatest drug of all time.

Second episode went too slow for me, skipped the middle 20 minutes.

Third episode was a collab between Miley and Black Mirror. They pretty much told a little futuristic twist of her own story. The shots at Disney (Mickey Mouse/father is a mouse hunter) were pretty good.

Episode 1 was most true to BM based off fukkery levels.

Decent season, 6/10

But that would have removed the thing that made the Striking Vipers interesting, the fact that the two friends developed this unprecedented relationship that even they didn't understand. If you get rid of that its just a guy cheating on his wife, which is a bland story.

Black Mirror likes to explore the extreme scenarios, so taking it to that place was the move. I honestly feel like a lot of this shyt is going to really happen. Like the VR avatar shyt is probably going to be huge in the 2020s.

That would completely gut what they were trying to explore. They were trying to explore

1. VR sex vs reality sex. Could VR programming be so good that it out does the real thing? These avatars have flawless bodies, they jump, punch, kick flawlessly. The VR sex is likely simulating unrealistically flawless sex as well.
2. A heterosexual having heterosexual sex in VR despite knowing in the back of his head that there's a man behind the female VR. Could the VR programming be so good that it makes a heterosexual man ignore the gayness of a man being behind the female VR? Danny is deep in a marriage where the sex life has gotten stale. His wife is still sexy (at least from the outside looking in) but she's got motherly duties and they're all comfortable with each other, so they've reached a steady state. With VR painting the most optimistic of sexual experiences, it's enough for Danny to overlook the male controller of the female avatar.
3. The affects of gender reversal. The VR is trying to make Karl feel sensations in body parts he doesn't have. What affect does that have? Maybe the VR made it feel even better than it typically does for a woman as it overcompensated or mapped the sensations in his male body. It made sense that Karl was the one fiending if that's the case.
4. How VR can push the boundaries of "bromance" further than the current world. They're not gay in real life (I do think they should have been more emphatic about this point...They kissed and just said there was no sparks. They shoulda kissed and been immediately disgusted like most heterosexual males would be. They actually made it seem like Danny could've been lying with his reaction, but I digress). Since this is the case, it suggest that the VR experience adds whole other dimension...another sexual preference class altogether.

As a chick watching episode 1 I’m like ... I knew it :pachaha:

:dead:@ these dudes meeting in the middle of the night to “fight” aka fukk on the game:pachaha:

But y’all have brought up some good points... I wonder if what is felt in the game is better than reality. And are they experiencing actual orgasms..? Are they possibly more powerful?

Dude wanted to know how it feels to be in a woman’s body :skip: cute.

I guess what confuses me is what exactly creates the attraction in the game? The avatar? If so.. it’s less about the players and more about who they become in the game that sets the tone or opportunity for all of this shyt?

You wrote a big ass diatribe about that shyt? :mjlol: The majority of you Coli nikkas is homos.

I was wondering what that episode was about because I saw the previews and it was about a black family. Now that I know what it's about, I ain't watching that shyt.

:laff: The fact that you nikkas actually watched that shyt, enjoyed it, and are having deep discussions about it is crazy.
