I swear I thought more Black millienials were becoming more non religious :ohhh: I guess this means that Black millienials like myself are the minority. However, we have always been a spiritual people.

Anyway, your thoughts? I'm not going to interject myself into this discussion. Yall know my view anyhow :yeshrug:

How do know it is the "end times" ? Christians who lived before you claimed their own time period was the "end times". What makes these times any different?

Women do more than just domestic work. :troll:
Gay marriage is legal. :troll:
Cacs are dwindling as a majority of the population in the U.S. :troll:

While it's far from the sole reason, you can definitely take the "could" out of that. You got young kids reciting creationist beliefs before they've had a chance to truly develop their own identities and thoughts. Unfortunately, that means some of us are told that science is something to be dismissed before any interest in it can be fostered.

And yet you have negroes both on here and IRL who still think religion ain’t propaganda and mental enslavement :hhh:

I’m all for Spirituality, but apparently some of these people can’t distinguish between the two.

I swear if we weren’t blinded by creationism, who knows where science and technology would be right now being spearheaded by mostly Black folks with a clear mind :wow: We’ve contributed greatly to those two fields but unhinged by religious dogma? Maaaaaan, it’ll be game over :ohlawd:

you can you rationalize your way out of a delusion?

i'm not a psychologist so i don't know the answer to that question

I'm simply asking if it's possible

I used to love to have conversations with religious people but now it's tiresome because the delusion is usually so strong. (not all religious people are like this though, the ones that have doubts about their faith tend to be a bit more reasonable)

Answer in your own words man. Be able to speak for yourself

Dude theres overwhelming evidence, present day and throughout history about how religion has been used to manipulate people to their own determent and you're seriously asking "how can it control the mind?" .

Even today the recent report about the Philadelphia catholic diocese, for generations people engaged in willful suppression of information regarding the rampant child abuse that went on there. All kept in check because of religious indoctrination.

It's heartbreaking, man. I'm all for spirituality as well, but I also recognize that like anything else in life, it's best in moderation, and shouldn't be used as a crutch.

We've got it so ingrained into us as a people that those of us who are spiritual buy maybe not fully devoted to the church like others are ostracized and villified. It's crazy.
