I work in a professional, white collar field in which the dress code is frequently business formal, but the Ghost character's wardrobe is on the "dandy" side... long ass peacoats, vests, wide ties... he looks like a hood dude's fantasy about what being powerful/successful would be.

Hard pass on that bullshyt. People spot that as "fake it until you make it" from a mile away. I think simplicity goes a long way, let your personality/demeanor do the talking.

I prefer spendin' that money on experiences, knowledge, sustenance, general self improvement & makin' more money. Clothin' is too far down the priority list for me to spend serious money on until money is not an object.
