It's good to wash the hair like everyday, but NOT with shampoo. Just letting the water hit the scalp, and conditioner isn't always a necessity, but water is(which is why I will never straighten again). If he/she has an odor, tell them to use more water, or if it's really strong apple cider vinegar. But it needs to get wet everyday, and be free

wasn't not necessarily referring to people i personally know but just women i encounter in public places. And the rancid smell i'm referring to is caused by natural oil based products just getting rancid since they don't have chemicals in them to prevent them from oxidizing like non natural products. The only solution to that is to wash it out completely then reapply

two years post chop 14inches worth of growth! Lol another couple of years and my thang gon be hanging down my ass crack. I really don't know if i could deal with so much hair. I just now got my routine down to under 2 hours. I have a big ass head full of hurr

im just annoyed by it at this point, it got to shoulder length and then it basically stopped. now it just gets bigger and bigger. i think if i had a twistout routine it would be easier to deal with but i prefer my natural curl pattern to the look i get with twists. i want japanese straightening.
