Black men, do you really like cutting your hair?

I always wonder why its seem as being beneficial for us to keep a low fade or something that looks like its neat and trimmed.

I can't think of any other culture or demographic that has to live up to such a standard outside of the military.

I know dreds and afros would get some people fired.

Keeping it low is way easier. I'd rather not take 30 minutes each day washing it/combing/brushing/durags. Plus in the summer time it gets hot as shyt.

Its just not in style for men of any race really to have long hair anymore

I say do what you do, if you want to grow dreads or braids as a grown man than go on and do it. If you have a challenge in the corporate world than make sure your skill set is so high in the area you want to make your bread in that they come looking for YOU

Stop all this following the trend and CONFORMING to try and fit in because it's hurting our generation and our Black uniqueness and BE YOU

I do rock a reg but I'm thinking about growing my hair back....it's just the maintenance to it that I don't look forward to...waiting on chicks on their time to do your hair ....

I hate it because it costs money. I limit it to once every three weeks at the most. But it is nice being in the chair ...soothing sometimes.
