It can but it depends on a few factors: your hair type, how high you heat the tools and how often you do this. It's much easier to avoid damage with heat than chemicals.Doesn't the heat damage the hair as well?
Heat mainly damages relaxed or permed hair due to the hair being weakened from chemical processing.Doesn't the heat damage the hair as well?
You right bro I try to lurk for a women’s perspective but there’s already enough of them here but more tame in their rhetoric.Ive learned to not take the LSA seriously at all
these women need to find themselves, sense of purpose and heal themselves.
Anyone running around with that level of self hatred and toxicity needs help
It's really fascinating to hear all these responses to natural hair. Many Black women have had everything from relaxed hair to weave to microbraids to a completely shaved head to sisterlocs to afro to twists and twist outs. The level of interest from men on the street seems to fluctuate depending on the style but I feel like I got the most compliments from strangers when I had locs and even now when I have a kinky fro but I do think when I had a straight up weave I got more cold approaches for a date.
