I can't even watch the movie breh. This story has me legit sad. Even more so when you read about the person he was and realize you went to school with people like him, had friends like him or even family. To know he was tortured and murdered for simply existing. I feel so fuking angry. Seeing us being murdered for sport is beyond exhausting. All of them deserve to burn

As someone who has lived abroad and thinks ppl exaggerate the racism in other countries lemme say this... it’s only better because there isn’t a critical mass of black ppl in those countries. If we took our whole population (or even a representative sample % wise) please believe they would be doing everything to make sure we stay an underclass too.
So that really only leaves African nations as an option. And unless we build a military able to rival the superpowers then you know what’s going to happen there too.

If we’re being honest, most ppl, including black folks, don’t have the time nor attention to focus on more than 2-3 of these cases at a time. There have already been like 4 more killings by police since George Floyd but they didn’t get the viral traction. There have to be a unique set of circumstances (timing, video, etc) for the case to catch on. This one has just started to gain traction. So much so that I was confused and thought it was more recent before realizing I had heard of it before

I’ve heard about this months but it first started with just his name(I’ve seen literally hundreds of names at this point and for a new name to get into the top 15 that we mention it has to be a reason why it’s up there against the others. We literally rank tragedies that happened to our people) then it was seeing his picture just simple regular pictures of him smiling then a lot of art of him very beautiful pictures across different art styles of him masked and then a few days ago I saw the picture of the him hooked up to all those machines, I read his last words where he was calling his killers beautiful, and I played the video but threw my phone away. We have to have some kind of National thing to put foot on necks because it’s a cycle. Someone gets killed then while we protest more of us get killed so we protest those deaths then more killings then there is a period where it bubbles down only to pop again. Like a staph infection we’ve been squeezed out painful blood and puss but more is coming out. There is a Chris Doner type like twice every half decade. I don’t know what could stop this without a complete reset and taking the time to make sure this doesn’t happen again
This child was pleading with them in the video. 3 grown men terrified of a child, killed him and lied about him going for a gun. I wish these mutherfukkers nothing but pain misery and disaster.
