Women have to deal with double standards and unfounded prejudices against them, and being black exacerbates this, making Black Women very underprivileged. Black Men are victims of discrimination and bias against them due to their being Black, but they do not receive any additional discrimination due to their sex and gender if they are hetero.

I lived in Southwest Houston my whole life highest concentration of Africans in the whole USA, yea go to the hood Africans boys fall through the cracks and end up dead or imprisoned, but not nearly as much as the American black boys with no fathers. Matters of fact a lot of the Africans that fall through the cracks don't know their fathers either.
40 years of disenfranchising black men, coupled with "I'm a strong black woman, I don't need a man" has hurt the American black community. 40 years of enabling bad child-bearing decision, 40 years of actively removing black fathers from households through welfare program.
