I feel like what the black women are saying is just acknowledge the fact that you do have some privilege and there are things you can change to help women. We have different experiences and perspectives.

And black women acknowledge that the black man has to deal with a ton of crap coming from all over. Most women think that they understand since they raise black boys or marry black men. But, the truth is we haven't walked in their shoes. And vice versa.

One experience is not like the other. Just try to be understanding. People just want to be acknowledged, respected and feel like they have some support.

Also understand that when someone addresses an issue. They are not necessarily attacking you. If they are, you dont have to attack back.

We need to learn how to communicate and express our issues in a healthier, more productive manner.

What are those privileges?

Actually, I am. The OOW birth rate and incarceration rates (many men who were coincidentally jailed by black women) speak to this fact.
The black community is certainly a community that is matriarchal and headed by women who believe themselves above reproach and infallible.
It is also bar none, the most dysfunctional community in this country. That isn't coincidental.

Funny how women forget how patriarchies actually protect women. All mariachal societies get conquered by neighboring patriarchies. Matriarchal communities are not won in war or revolution. They are a result of failed patriarchies. Black women love to complain about what black men are not doing for them like white men do for white women not realizing that white women's cushy position is a result of white patriarchy.

I am a feminist (as in I advocate for women's rights and equality) however there are things that I've learned from listening to the male posters on this site who hate feminists.
So now Im confused with what to call myself I'll probably just refrain from labeling myself.

Anyways...
I feel like there are people who are so focused on winning and being right, they end up being wrong and strong.

Also, people react differently based on how you say things and the context in when or which you said it.
