If you guys are into Sci fi and fantasy than there are some famously unknown "Afrofuturism" writers that have black Sci fi..one women, I forgot her name, but she's been writing Sci fi books for like 40 years

The most crazy thing about this is...if white people wrote half these books about black people, we'd be offended, rightfully so

I've read like 2 books by black authors. "What Makes Me Wanna Holler" and the this book about these 2 brothers growing Chicago. Besides that, no books that I read are by black authors. Tbh, they're more caught up in being black than anything else.
