I heargot a new book in the works. I see literate black men not fukking with those books altogether. We probably reading one of Tariq's books. Granted, Tariq Nasheed does have some good game advice.
Judging from the titles of the books looks like the primary audience for African American literature are African American women.....

Why is it that a WHITE MAN like James Patterson had to make one of the best selling mystery/crime novels named Alex Cross.

The protagonist is a strong educated family black man who is also kickass and good at solving crimes. The Alex Cross series is one of my series. Yet its NOT written by a black person. Why? Why has a white man made a book like Alex Cross, but a black person can't? Sad indeed.
And did I forget to say its a best seller?
its funny... white publishers dont want urban books but when you have an intelligent smartly written story that has black characters they place you in the black section of barnes and nobles anyways when your a black writer. I'm publishing my book myself... fukk these Cac publishing houses... they going outta business anyways.
because if the author was a black man he wouldnt get any shine on the same level...
But that wasn't my main point though. I'm questioning why haven't most black authors(especially black writers) made good complex series like Alex Cross?
