You write shyt breh? How deep are you (pause) and do you have any connections for knowledge and format information?
Ha, I write but not as often as I should.
I'm terrible... been sitting on ideas, treatments, and half-written scripts for a minute.

Knowledge? The best advice has always been to write every day. Read.

You wouldn't believe me if I told you, but I got about 14 different projects that started from basic ideas, I have put full movies and tv shows together on a scene to scene type of thing, no dialogue.

Just a full story summary, and the break down of how the story plays out.

I believe I have enough work done to profit big off these ideas, especially with the attention to detail I wrote with. But I don't want to do dialogue, AT ALL.

I want to be able to present these ideas to a company and have a writing team hired to put it together.

I have no idea how to go about doing this correctly on paper so I can copyright it before promoting it to movie companies.

Covid had cancelled the Hollywood Movie Pitch 5 day festival where you can sit down with different companies and present your ideas.

I want to have my portfolio finished by next year, it should return next July, always the first week of July somewhere in Hollywood. 500$ per day though :snoop:

Honestly, you sound like a producer, a Will Packer type cat.

Out of those good ideas/projects that you have, pick one that's the most practical. Gotta get a buzz
Get a little crew together and shoot it. Maybe start off doing shorts to get a vibe of production then get a little more ambitious.
You a Detroit breh? Look at your folks with all those flicks on Amazon Prime.
That cat Murda Pain is like the Denzel of flicks up there. :pachaha:

You could eat in ATL. You'd probably have to turn ppl away if you tries shooting something

Yes the more I hear the more I'm thinking I should just write a couple short stories and shoot them myself to get some hand on shyt under my belt.

I wanted to aim high though. The idea with the most potential is a Sci Fi idea and if someone like Spielberg read it, he would want to put it together.

I wanna work my way up to the point I can pitch the ideas without worrying about it being stolen. It's hard to find information on movie idea protection, but that festival in Hollywood has a system in place to keep that from happening.

I believe the black lady who wrote the pitch for The Matrix sold her idea thru that festival for 5 million.

Maybe she had to sue for it or some shyt, I think that was before they enforced the writer protections.

I feel like I gotta get people full identities and document that shyt. I'm knocking families off if my shyt get stolen

i have heard you never write a spec script and submit it. always have a deal in place or some kind of document that says they are looking at your work and will not use elements of it if no deal is reached.
