They change the academic standards for students based on race and then colleges change their academic standards and disregard students who are pigeonholed into certain race based standards. Then stats are released to show less black/latin students attending certain colleges. If this curriculum is forced on exceptional students it could even hinder their progress. Overall its insane, demonic logic from the pits of hell.

The last thing minority, impoverished youth needs is to be told they can be on equal status by completing inferior goals to their counterparts.

I said this on the podcast: I have Nigerian dudes in my classes/major who fukking excel way beyond other races. It isn't a racial issue.

It's mostly cultural, nurturing and economic issue.

We need HIGHER goals for ALL kids, otherwise we are fukked. The rest of the civilized world is doing advanced calculus in high schools we have kids struggling with algebra in universities.

Those Nigerians come from a richer and better educated culture than the average Nigerian.

My pops graduated from some elite Christian School in Nigeria.

I have my youngest son in a Montesorri school and my eldest son is in a black themed school in BK which has produced several Ivy leaguers.

I think what Florida shows is the low expectations they have coming IN with regarding our children. My kids go to schools where they EXPECT them to perform.

That's the upper hand blacks from other nations have that we no longer have here. Their teachers expect them to excel.

Children rise to the occasion man. When the parents instill the right things in these children, they SEEK challenges. If you expect them to excel, they usually will. There are cases where this isn't true obviously, but I would bet the probability is quite high.

We need to stop dumbing down education so more kids pass. If they fail, take them out of the regular school system and put them in a special one. Maybe a special school with smaller class size and more dedicated teachers. If they do well there, they go back to the regular school system. But don't lower the standards.

The Chinese come to our universities with their math requirements mainly already completed or at the very least, they excel in a subject they have already taken.

Then you got American kids who think SohCahToa is a Samoan NFL player.

the problem exists primarily in the culture that black americans are raised in. Intellect is not celebrated, it is denegrated and characterized as acting white or being bourgeois.

When we as parents decide to place an emphasis on what is right instead of what is convienient, then and only then, will we see the standards that we find unacceptable start to change.
