Also brehs in this thread make tech sound worse then health care; higher highs but lower lows. In health care I make less but job is secure and theoretically can live anywhere, get a similar wage abd get away with lower costs of living if I want.

Taxes taking a good amount of money. Depending on where you living. In the Bay an apartment for yourself is probably 3K minimum.

Then every year you are fighting for your stock options and bonuses.

$3K for an apartment in El Cerrito or some shyt. My brother is paying $3k a month for a fukkin room in the mission.

Keep doing that breh. One of my philosophy profs back in college. Told us to always keep our head up, even when times get rough, you can always bounce back. During that time period you think it's the end of the world, but you look back and it was just a minor set-back in this journey of life.

I don't know much about the Eritrean culture, but I do know that they're tightly knitted. So even if breh was going through tough times I'm sure his family would have no issues holding him down; failure or not, but I guess we have to reaffirm that to the kids.

100%. Tell my boys it's okay to make mistakes and you not gonna be perfect. Just don't make the big one where you'll make your life even harder than it can be trying to recover, especially as black men/kids.
