Something about this show that I just realized after listening to Champagne Sharks, they explain all the black stuff, including the jokes to appeal to a multi cultural audience.

If you watch Martin, they don’t explain the jokes. If you know, you know, and if you don’t get it, it’s not for you.

I think this show is stronger when it sticks to the comedy rather than the social commentary.

That feminism episode was good in highlighting the sidelining of black issues but I think it was undone when Dre said something to the effect like he & pops were the white people when it came to 'feminism'
