Black women like you are the problem because you see everything as a competition.
The black woman that made this should be thinking of all black kids not just girls.

could be because black boys and girls have different issues.

Black Girls Code was created by a Black woman. I'm sure you're not familiar with the organization, but a simple google search could have shown you that. I love that someone is always nearby to try to take credit away from Black women when we're doing good though. And the irony is that its often not cacs :mjpls:
Black Girls code is sponsored by white corporations. They are so focused on female empowerment to a fault. Why not try to help Black people instead of singling out black women. Probably because it would be more difficult to get funding that way. Hopefully some of these girls see the error of these lesbian methods and take it upon themselves to teach their people instead of seeing some benefit in only helping women. Women that want to compete with their men instead of working with them, will fail their people.

We could use more black people in the tech industry period. Making programs just for black girls is not going to help black people as a whole. It needs to be for both black girls and boys.
And alot of times what it leads to down the road are a culture of black women in tech who look down on black men saying *why arent you in the tech industry like us* not realizing that the groundwork to open those doors for them was paid for by feminists and corporations, singling black men, out.

There must be an unspoken rule that helping black men is not in the cards.

When oprah opened that school in Africa, was it for black people, or indoctrinating, black women? Thats a rhetorical question.

When they give black women financial aid its under the condition that what, black men arent in the home.

The outer limits
http://www.bootstrapworld.org/

^^ we need more orgs like that..they have a clear agenda of teaching math through video games, kids will eat that up

fukk singling out select races in tech..we need people LEGIT interested in the field, I don't want people just there for payoffs because it looks lucrative

And we need to obtain success in the field and go back and lead by example ala my nicca gabe :salute:

I think i understand now. When you focus on uplifting black women and basically ignore black men this helps the status quo in a lot of ways. If black men can be kept in the position they are in now and black women can be raised above them economically, more then lkely these women will take on the ideology of whites and more then likely marry procreate with them, etc. By not offering these types of services to black men that fear whites have of competing with black men is kept in check. Whites and others really dont have to compete with black women because they wont be bringing the money to black people but will more then likely bring it to whatever community they marry into. Individually this is meaningless but as a sponsored movement, it could be a problem down the road.

Another sad aspect of black girls code is black people dont know enough about programming to know if what they're being taught is keeping them current with industry trends. The black girls code site is coded in some old HTML code and what appears to be some kind of simplistic program was used to create it. Looking at what they're actually offering, they arent really teaching girls how to code but how to use simplistic programs that do all the work for you. Maybe this should be called. *BlackGirls3rdPartyPrograms*
