These grocery prices are outrageous but people are really trying to escape the personal responsibility aspect of finances these last few years. I know too many people complaining about pricing but yet always have the newest, flyest shyt. Are you tight on money or not? Something isn't adding up. I'm actually tight on money, so I decided to fix up my 2010 car instead of buying a 2020+. I'm posting from a Samsung phone that came out in 2019. It's these things that allowed me to continue buying eggs even though it's true they are outrageously priced.

Biden didn't tell your local grocer to increase their prices 50%. These companies decided to use the inflation from COVID as an opportunity to price gouge and they are loving the fact that people blame Biden for it. Now they can escape all accountability.

By the way, only one candidate discussed taking on price gouging and it wasn't the idiot who won.

I'm glad someone else is saying it! I've been saying it for the past year and people told me I'm talking down to folks. People are complaining about prices but at the same time consuming more than ever. What in incentive does a business have to lower prices. The free market is working the way it's supposed to. People are only complaining because they have to spend slightly more on their needs so they have less to spend on their wants. Give them extra money for their essentials and watch they spend it on materialistic things and still complain about gas and eggs lol

Spending was down. And will be after the holidays.

There is NOTHING that will stop the Black Friday - Christmas sales season.

My favorite time of the year :blessed:

Both can be true at the same time: People are hurting but are also massive idiots and will buy shyt they dont need instead of saving and investing.

That's already a headline. People are using "Buy Now Pay Later" at record numbers + credit cards are already close to maxed out

If you can find "buy now, pay later" with 0 interest, that is better than using a credit card if you're someone that is unable to pay your card down every month.

I hope more people go with buy now pay later, maybe it will force CC companies to stop gouging.
