When I worked for a fortune 500, I had this VP that didn't like me, funny thing is, she was filipina. Anyways this broad was always condescending, side remarks, simplifying her english when she spoke to me directly.
Was it annoying? Yes. Was it a struggle? No. That broad wasn't hurting my paper in anyway, and I ended up having to conduct a few presentations for her groups in Manila. The fact that she was like that toward me, just made me go harder, my students were always ready with knowledge on time, never had any hiccups.
