The self-proclaimed black intellectuals and black progressives do more harm than good with their statements and actions that they mistakenly believe are on behalf of the black community and reflect well on us. Those sycophants believe that they're leaders but they're merely house negroes in the ivory towers of dominant society and are out of touch with the majority of the black population. Cases in point: Henry Louis Gates, Melissa Harris-Perry, and Feminista Jones.

God bless the "poor" black people who speak up for themselves and aren't afraid to call out today's racial climate for what it is. May nothing but success and happiness exist for those who are out on the streets protesting and fighting on the front line against white supremacy, classic warfare, and police brutality.

I'll give my honest opinion from what I have seen so far............ Most black feminist/womanist are illogical. I have absolutely no problem with black women speaking about racism or things that we face as black people. I remember going to a store to apply for a job and I was escorted out of the store. The owner was some white Latino gay man. He did not want to give me an application. I know what it feels like to be around other races of people and they expect me to be loud, belligerent, and hypersexual. I remember during my first year of college we had to make some video about college in one of my classes. I was the only black person in the group. They wanted me to twerk. I immoderately said hell fukk no.
The thing with black feminism is that you can not fight an oppressive patriarchal racist system on your own. Racism and white supremacy is kept alive by white men and heavily supported by white women because the women reaps the benefits of it. Non black feminist, especially white feminist really do not care about black women at all. During a war when one army wins they take everything from their opponents and bring it back to the women and etc. Don't get me wrong.....There are many racist ass non black women. I see it all the time. I do feel as if black men and women do have distinct issues, but all in all I see that black is black. I see that you are considered black before you are considered a man or woman. When black women are getting beat down in the streets by racist they are being beat down like they're an animal. They don't say, "Oh this is a woman. She is smaller than me. Let me be careful". I think black people should come together and leave all those white labels alone. Feminism/womanism is entering Africa. They are telling women that they are giving them opportunities. Yet, they never speak about the high positions women in Africa had, and how they took away the mans ability to provide for his family when European colonialism came into play. I'm just saying....People will disagree with me but I don't care.
