It isn't about building a Black economic base or creating strong Black families with many of these "educated" Black people/feminist, it's about romanticizing their intellect and using it as a cash cow and an appeal to the opposite gender, regardless of race.

Society currently teaches women to value themselves by comparing their self image to models and stereotypes portrayed by television and magazines. Because of this, many girls grow up hating themselves because they are different from what society sees as ‘beautiful’.

So when they get with a white man, they view it as someone from the dominate culture confirming blacks women's beauty.

But it isn't just women. Black men in academia and activism do the same exact thing. What makes it terrible is that their careers are based on preaching Blackness, so either they don't believe what they preach, don't live around the very people they claim to want progress for, or they are delusional.

Poor blacks really have no choice.

Poor blacks do not really have access to these white eligible bachelor's, so when someone says they only date white men you better believe they are in a very privileged position. So that's why I usually tune them out when they try to explain their preference for white men. It has more to do with social status than romance.

You also probably have a big ego because you are of a higher class and education level than most of your own people.

Looking at quite a few our black academics, politicians, etc... there is no doubt to that

This as well confirms that successful black women will quick to date out faster than successful black men.

I also noticed more black women think you can still be pro black dating out than black men who think the same.

The self-proclaimed black intellectuals and black progressives do more harm than good with their statements and actions that they mistakenly believe are on behalf of the black community and reflect well on us. Those sycophants believe that they're leaders but they're merely house negroes in the ivory towers of dominant society and are out of touch with the majority of the black population. Cases in point: Henry Louis Gates, Melissa Harris-Perry, and Feminista Jones.

God bless the "poor" black people who speak up for themselves and aren't afraid to call out today's racial climate for what it is. May nothing but success and happiness exist for those who are out on the streets protesting and fighting on the front line against white supremacy, class warfare, and police brutality.

Many of our people tend to have ridiculous standards while other races do not which will effect our population rate negatively.

@Poitier sounds like what has been said on this by multiple male posters on this site about black women that you have agreed with to justify why a wealthier black man would most likely marry non black and considering the stats....is reflected.

Essentially that the quality of non black women is more than black women. The actually reality is...most professional black women remain unmarried. And you agree that black men will always have more opportunity to date/marry out than black women.

Its just a hustle, the mediocre either: 1) try to save the world through activism or 2) become a Bible thumper.

Its a way for them to compensate for their feelings of worthlessness. I'm skeptical of any goody-goody self-righteous folk.
