Yes I agree, but there are issues uniquely effecting us and we need to have agency. No shade on women.

Think about a women's movement being run by men. Those men may have good intentions but women should be speaking for and among themselves without outside interference so they can determine their own needs and agenda.
I agree. I gladly step aside for that.

I suggest that y'all that aren't like that start calling out and separating yourselves from those who are. Black men should do the same regarding these pink-toe chasing c00ns. The problem is we give passes along gender lines.
the problem is that the group is so small and is so watched and criticized that when something like this someone comes out saying shyt like this, people who don't want to associated with it just quietly disengange. If you were in a gathering, you might get called out, but zealots on social media just get avoided

You raised a ton of good points in your post, even if they were deflections. So let me ask you, how do you steer women and men whom been traumatized from adopting ideology that calls for the extermination of your own people? No way that woman should be allowed to raise a Black child with that mindset.
I should have used causation and not correlation but the short answer is you can't. Ppl like that make a choice to do so. Instead of dealing with issues, they allow it to manifest into hatred. We can see a prime example of it on this very message board. Until someone decides that they will not let the bad hands they have been dealt with in life allow them to be a prisoner of resentment and venom, they cannot begin the process of healing. That's why investing in our black youth is important.

Black men have Black Empowerment. This movement has people like Tariq Nasheed, Jason Black, and Dr. Boyce Watkins at the helm.

It's not as catchy as #BlackLivesMatter but I fvck with it.

#BlackFirst
Breh, that s not a movement. I respect those guys but they are essentially entertainers who are spreading awareness. They have little impact off the internet.

I'm not surprised.

But if black men don't get off their asses and start their own movement, then we cant complain about BLM.

WHICH black men though? Heterosexual black men? Gay black men? Black men from the hood? Black men from the suburbs? Rich black men? Poor black men? Middle class black men? Depressed black men? Bipolar black men? Tall black men? Short black men? Nerdy black men? Swagged out black men?

...you sure we could all put aside our differences and come together under one movement with respect to one another's different personalities, ideologies, speech patterns to discuss issues that affect us and turn those conversations into a legitimate movement? Because from what I've seen on here thats going to be a big fat NO! The same issues you all are having now with feminists would be the same issues you'd be having with black men who are different than you. This is why its important to develop skills that allow you to adapt and be accepting of those different than you are. This is why gay people are getting laws passed in their favor because they know how to come together and lobby!! I've been told that my experiences don't matter because of where I come from on here. That type of alienation isn't going to work with this movement you speak of...

This just isn't true and we've got to stop telling this lie. The harsh reality is the most blacks are ignorant self hating sell outs. The black women who show unconditional love/support are actually the ones in the minority. This Bill Cosby thing is a perfect example. Most black women are going right along with this modern day lynching of Cosby not even WANTING to question what this is really all about. The black women who question this and kinda see this for what it is are in the extreme minority. Black people(black women especially) are completely owned by the liberal left. The liberal left tells them how to feel, think, and act. To say that black women who harbor resentment for black women are small percentage is disingenuous and we've got to start keeping it real.
