Science has nothing do to with being white. The essence of science is that it can be verified.I agree with you partially on the bolded. I understand why it's necessary. But, white people have a nasty history of de-legitimizing our African oral histories while believing all of theirs at face value. For example, we can watch movies on the Trojan War and it's all good but, if someone made a movie about Abubakari II traveling to the Americas, it would be flooded with racist comments.
Abubakari II traveling to the Americas as of now is just a claim and story. Without other solid evidence based in science, it will remain a folklore.
I did hear of golden spears, with the same chemical composition found in West African gold. But I have never seen the actual results from a study into that matter.
