I totally agree, especially Black kids in America, the only argument I hear against home schooling is "my kid won't be socialized with other kids their age" to which I say, "so fukking what"

Thats why we start our own schools, kids can socialize with each other there. In Public school "socializing" just = smashing
I would have been a genius if I was homeschooled. My sisters daughter is turning into this type of girl. She's mad advanced. She has crazy motor skills and knows letters and numbers already. Can only imagine how she's gonna be by the time she's 2. I swear we need to home school our babies. We send 'em to school with white women and wonder why some don't get the right attention.
We have enough elders in the community, I honestly dont even see it costing much, and really it would only be necessary for grades k-6 maybe k-8. Because once you get to HS you dont really learn much to be a case where you were dumb before then got smart over night.

The problem is we got the elders.. But no community. Most of our issues are lack of community. Brehs all out for them selves. Can't even get a susu jumping cause nikkas is so shortsighted. But I know white folks are to blame for that so I just do what I can to try and bring us closer together.

BEDMAS also works. That's what they teach in Canadian schools, not sure if they also teach PEMDAS up here though.
On that note, I've been struggling with Math ever since I was the same age as her.
English was my strongest subject, had a knack for it. It must be due to me loving to read all the time since I was little (Still do!) but Math.................. Can't deal with it. But it makes me wonder how many 'dumb' kids that are struggling would succeed if we were to place them in a home-schooled environment? It's no secret that the reason why people can learn certain things easier is because they actually WANT to, compared to someone who hates said subject. You'll never see a smart person that hates learning something. Maybe it's due to the environment of public schools, the fact that most teachers don't care, the pacing is different for everyone, and other kids as well.
Regardless, keep shining, little genius.

not surprised when i was schooling in nigeria i had a kid 3yrs younger than me tutor me in logarithms, this was when i was 15.
