That is the problem with this entire thread. What we associate with things NOW aren't how those who lived THEN associated them.

The only people looking 'bad' are those who are trying to critique things they have no education on, yet think their opinions matter.

The books I've posted so far in this thread shed some light on the subject, but I doubt anyone will bother to read them.

The definition of 'god' you posted doesn't make sense, btw, unless you're talking about Dungeons and Dragons.​
