“build the wall” may not hurt your personal feelings but it should feel like an insult to your intelligence, because it is an inane policy.
The cost of manpower and supply to build a wall from one side of Mexico to another across mountainous terrain is absolutely insane and doesn’t solve the actual problem of illegals coming here FOR WORK. Let me repeat: THEY WOULD NOT COME HERE IF THERE WASNT LABOR FOR THEM.
“Building the wall” is a purely reactionary, racist, and knee-jerk reaction to the shrinking pie of late stage capitalism and it’s parroted because cacs and c00ns are too dumb to articulate their ennui and anxiety about the dying middle class and quite frankly, too cowardly to force their attention toward the corporations who are the ones enabling illegal immigration.
