We're not talking about youths who were on their path to be doctors and lawyers until they were exposed to the dark magic of AA culture. These are youths who took on the expression of AA culture because they could symphatize with it - meaning they already felt this way (being a minority with lower social and economic status).

Then prove it. You made the claim, yet with no proof. When I give proof, you claim its old, but how do you know the number has gotten lower, or at least significantly. I've looked, and have yet to find a new, lower number.

@Deluuxe I agree that the street terrorist and degenerates have a hold on the consciousness of too many of us, but what about those who do not fall into that category and are public figures?

You jumped the gun by putting a bunch of words in my mouth. Of course there are problems in the black community that we need to take responsibility for, when have I ever said otherwise? I'm simply arguing that it's quite bold to hold African Americans alone accountable for the situation that we as black people find ourselves in today.
Yes, it is true that we are the only people who allow the most ignorant among us to be our representatives, but there is a reason why people resonate with certain messages. I grew up in Scandinavia where not only black people identified with Hip-Hop, but Arabs, Pakistanis, Turks, Eastern-Europeans and disenfranchised white boys aswell. You're from Toronto so I'm sure you've seen similar things. I'm simply saying that people, especially people from low income communities, around the world gravitated towards AA culture because it spoke to them. If they didnt have the crips/bloods, then those blacks would have imitated rude boys/yardies from Jamaica, or just made up their own identity.
My dad is from Africa, and in his country you see the exact same thing that you mentioned; people of other ethnicities opening up businesses in black neighbourhoods. This is a black problem, and it's completely insane to blame only one segment of blacks for it. Our people had tribal wars before African Americans even existed. You said that the problems stems from the way AAs have defined blackness, but in Africa they don't even identify with the AAs and yet they have the same problems. So you can see that your theory is very easy to falsify.

Actually, you do see this phenomena in other populations in the world. You see similar situations among the Maori population in New Zealand, and this argument can be made by the indigenous population in Australia. It is worst especially in country like Australia and indigenous is ban from purchasing alcohol. In New Zealand you see the same signs of outside groups utilizing the country services, whereas the locals out left out of the economic equation.
Whenever you have two historically enemies groups, the results is always nearly the same.

Black Americans specifically have this thing where they absolutely refuse to take responsibility for anything they do, they are biggest victims, read these forums and how they think, constantly winning over the pettiest shyt, and they pass this garbage down. Now you have blacks in Toronto marching for black lives matter because the police are carding them. The police are carding them because they represent the criminal element in the city, but are they going to address that issue? Nope they march and cry white supremacy same shyt they see the black americans doing. The issue, is not addressing the issue. The 1st generation came and worked hard mostly in low end jobs the 2nd generation was suppose to go get educated and climb the ladder. That is not happening because you have black people creating this boogeyman victim white supremacy mentality in these folks. The 2nd gen completely dropped the ball.

If this is the case and whites are their enemies then why do they think these whites are going to help them? Why are they marching towards them? They should then take care of themselves. When you ask these guys how to fight "white supremacy", they say with group economics... something that has absolutely nothing to do with whites, and exactly what they are whining to whites for doing, creating opportunity and working for their people. They'll then say the country was built on their labour, but nobody gives a fukk and they're not going to give you shyt, so you might as well get over it. But the victim in them won't let them do it. They're waiting for someone to do it for them.

I'm sure there are many things black people have to take responsibility for and there are many things white supremacy is responsible for. You take a very aggressive stance in that debate, and I'm not going to go there right now because I feel like it's a seperate issue.
I just have to speak up when you blame African Americans for other black peoples problems, when those same problems existed before African Americans did. You're upset about other black people adopting AAs victim mentality in blaming their problems on white supremacy. Then you take on a victim mentality and blame AAs for other black peoples problems.

Its not hypocrisy because AAs get but hurt the minute anyone does not identify as black with them. I wish I could find the thread on how some jamaican kid corrected a teacher for calling him black and how butthurt AAs on here got. America is also the biggest media system and black americans are a part of it so other "blacks" will identify with people who they think they're the same as, and take on the same mentality as these people living in the western world.
