As far as organic goes, it ain't that.


EDIT: Hip-hop was born of Black people in black neighborhoods. But it also was not born in the Hamptons or the suburbs or the South. But in a very particular societial environment that was created due to political manipulation and racism. Then it became commercialized heavily in the 90s.
